Getting Started

Booking & Scheduling

Learn how booking deposits, scheduling, agreements, rescheduling, and appointment preparation work at No. 1 Detail.

Start by visiting the Pricing page and selecting the service that best fits your vehicle and what you would like to accomplish.

For services requiring a booking deposit, complete the applicable deposit online and provide accurate contact information. No. 1 Detail will review the request and coordinate scheduling directly with you.

No. 1 Detail requires a booking deposit because we value our customers and dedicate time in our schedule specifically to each booked vehicle.

Once an appointment is reserved, that time is set aside so the proper preparation can be completed and the requested service can receive the attention it deserves.

Booking deposits may also be used to purchase the materials required to complete the service. Specialized services such as vinyl wraps, paint protection film, window tint, ceramic coatings, and other projects can require materials to be purchased specifically for a customer's vehicle.

The deposit helps No. 1 Detail reserve the required time, obtain the necessary materials, and properly prepare to give the vehicle The No. 1 Treatment.

No. Booking deposits are non-refundable.

Once a booking is placed, No. 1 Detail may begin reserving time, allocating resources, preparing the service, and purchasing materials required for the project.

No. Paying the booking deposit begins the booking process, but it does not automatically select or guarantee an appointment date or time.

No. 1 Detail reviews the service request first and coordinates scheduling directly with the customer.

Different vehicles and services can require significantly different amounts of time, preparation, materials, and labor.

Direct scheduling allows No. 1 Detail to review each project individually instead of forcing every vehicle into the same standardized appointment window.

No. 1 Detail reviews your service request and the information provided with your booking.

Any required service agreements or aftercare agreements can then be completed, followed by direct communication to confirm scheduling and any remaining project details.

Certain services require a Service Agreement before the appointment.

Depending on the service, an Aftercare Agreement may also be required. These agreements establish the scope of work, payment terms, vehicle-condition considerations, aftercare expectations, and other important service information.

That's completely fine. Text No. 1 Detail at 316-213-2638 with information about your vehicle and what you would like to accomplish.

Photos can also be helpful when discussing paint condition, contamination, wrap projects, existing damage, or other appearance concerns.

You can also visit the Contact Us page before booking.

Yes. Customers should provide as much advance notice as possible when an appointment needs to be moved.

A $20 rescheduling fee may apply when an appointment is rescheduled with less than 48 hours' notice, subject to No. 1 Detail's current terms.

Weather can affect detailing, paint correction, coatings, wraps, window tint, PPF, and other automotive appearance services.

No. 1 Detail may reschedule or adjust an appointment when weather could compromise safety, installation conditions, curing, workmanship, or the finished result.

Cost & Payment

Pricing & Payments

Understand starting prices, final balances, additional charges, deposits, and payment expectations.

Visit the Pricing page for current services, starting prices, packages, and booking options.

Vehicles vary in size, condition, design, complexity, material requirements, and labor requirements.

A starting price provides a baseline while allowing the final price to reflect the actual vehicle and requested work.

After the applicable booking deposit, the remaining balance is generally due upon completion of the service unless another written arrangement applies.

Yes. No. 1 Detail has a $100 minimum service charge.

Yes. Final pricing may change when the actual condition of the vehicle, requested scope, vehicle size, material requirements, or project complexity differs from what was originally anticipated.

Yes. Excessive dirt, pet hair, staining, spills, debris, contamination, or other conditions requiring substantially more labor may result in additional charges or require a different service level.

Certain vehicles may require additional time, precautions, materials, or specialized handling. Applicable vehicle or special-care charges may therefore apply depending on the service.

Applicable card processing fees may be charged depending on the payment method used and No. 1 Detail's current payment terms.

The Foundation

Detailing

Interior and exterior detailing, Full Details, vehicle condition, stain and spill treatment, and realistic expectations.

No. 1 Detail offers professional interior and exterior detailing along with cleaning, decontamination, appearance restoration, and vehicle-protection services.

Learn more on the Detailing page or compare current packages on the Pricing page .

A Full Detail is a complete interior and exterior detailing service designed to thoroughly clean, refresh, and improve the overall appearance of your vehicle.

The exact services included are based on No. 1 Detail's current Full Detail package. Visit the Pricing page for current package details and pricing.

Qualifying paid Full Details also participate in our Drive Clean Rewards program. Customers who continue returning for a qualifying Full Detail within the required 60-day interval can earn their sixth qualifying Full Detail free.

No. 1 Detail provides interior cleaning and stain-treatment services as part of applicable detailing packages. We can attempt to clean a wide variety of spills, stains, contamination, and interior messes depending on the affected material, severity, age of the contamination, and overall condition of the vehicle.

Examples may include:

  • Milk, dairy products, baby formula, and other dairy-based spills
  • Coffee, tea, soda, juice, sports drinks, energy drinks, water, and other beverages
  • Food, sauces, condiments, grease, cooking oils, and food residue
  • Mud, dirt, sand, road salt, dust, and ground-in grime
  • Pet accidents, pet urine, feces, vomit, saliva, and other pet-related contamination
  • Human urine, vomit, blood, saliva, and other bodily-fluid contamination
  • Makeup, lotions, sunscreen, cosmetics, hair products, and personal-care products
  • Ink, markers, crayons, dyes, paint, and similar staining materials
  • Water stains and applicable moisture-related staining
  • Organic matter, food decomposition, and other odor-causing contamination
  • Carpet, upholstery, floor-mat, seat, headliner, and other interior-surface staining
  • Other spills, stains, residue, and contamination that can be safely treated with our available equipment, products, and detailing methods

Treatment does not guarantee complete removal. Some substances can permanently stain, discolor, bleach, dye, chemically alter, deteriorate, or otherwise damage interior materials. Liquids and other contamination may also penetrate beneath the visible surface into carpet backing, seat foam, padding, insulation, seams, crevices, and other areas that may not be completely accessible through a detailing service.

Stain, contamination, and odor-removal results depend on many factors, including what caused the contamination, the amount spilled, how long it has been present, the material affected, previous cleaning attempts, existing damage or deterioration, and how deeply the substance has penetrated.

Because of these variables, No. 1 Detail cannot guarantee complete removal of any stain, spill, discoloration, residue, contamination, or odor. Our goal is to provide the best improvement reasonably achievable using the equipment, products, and methods appropriate for the affected material and condition.

Certain contamination may fall outside the scope of normal automotive detailing. No. 1 Detail reserves the right to decline, limit, or stop treatment when a substance or condition presents a potential health or safety concern, requires specialized biohazard or hazardous-material remediation, could damage the vehicle or detailing equipment, cannot be safely identified or treated, or otherwise falls outside the scope of the selected service.

At this time, No. 1 Detail does not offer dedicated steam-cleaning services because we do not currently have steam-cleaning equipment. We continue to invest in additional professional equipment as our business grows and hope to expand our interior-cleaning capabilities in the future.

If your vehicle has a significant spill, milk contamination, bodily fluids, pet waste, heavy staining, persistent odors, unknown substances, or another unusual interior condition, please contact No. 1 Detail before booking. Photos and a description of the affected area can help us determine whether the condition falls within the scope of our services and establish realistic expectations before your appointment.

Detailing can dramatically improve a vehicle, but results depend on age, condition, staining, wear, materials, permanent damage, previous repairs, and deterioration.

Detailing cannot reverse every form of permanent wear or damage.

Restore the Finish

Paint Correction

Swirl marks, scratches, polishing, paint condition, and realistic correction expectations.

Paint correction uses machine-polishing techniques to improve defects such as swirl marks, oxidation, haze, light scratches, and other imperfections in a vehicle's painted finish.

Current service options and pricing are available on the Pricing page .

No. Some defects are too deep to safely remove without compromising the remaining clear coat or paint.

The goal is to achieve the best reasonable improvement while preserving the integrity of the vehicle's finish.

Paint systems vary in thickness, hardness, age, previous repairs, refinishing, existing defects, and overall condition.

For that reason, identical correction results cannot be guaranteed on every vehicle.

Protecting corrected paint can help preserve the improved appearance.

For long-term surface protection, visit the Ceramic Coating page .

For physical protection against road debris and rock chips, visit the Paint Protection Film page .

Yes. Polishing and close inspection can reveal previous repairs, refinishing, thin or weakened paint, clear-coat failure, deeper scratches, oxidation, and other conditions that may not have been obvious beforehand.

Long-Term Protection

Ceramic Coatings

Paint protection, gloss, hydrophobic performance, preparation, wheels, glass, trim, and maintenance.

Ceramic coating creates a durable protective layer over properly prepared vehicle surfaces.

It can enhance gloss, create hydrophobic water behavior, make routine cleaning easier, and provide longer-lasting protection than many traditional waxes and sealants.

Learn more on the Ceramic Coating page .

No. Ceramic coatings are not scratch-proof, rock-chip-proof, or damage-proof.

Ceramic coating is designed primarily for surface protection, gloss, hydrophobic performance, chemical resistance, and easier maintenance.

Customers looking for a physical barrier against rock chips, road debris, and abrasion should consider Paint Protection Film .

Proper surface preparation is an important part of ceramic coating installation.

Preparation may include cleaning, decontamination, and other paint-preparation steps depending on the condition of the vehicle and the coating package selected.

Vehicles with swirl marks, haze, oxidation, or other paint defects may benefit from paint correction before the coating is installed.

Yes. One of the benefits of ceramic coating is enhanced gloss and visual depth.

However, the final appearance depends heavily on the condition and preparation of the paint underneath the coating.

Hydrophobic protection means the coated surface is designed to resist water and encourage water to bead and move away from the surface more easily.

This can make routine washing and maintenance easier, but it does not mean the vehicle will never become dirty or need proper washing.

Yes. No. 1 Detail also offers specialized ceramic protection options including:

  • Wheel Ceramic Coating
  • Glass Ceramic Coating
  • Exterior Trim Coating

Current options and starting prices can be found on the Pricing page .

Proper washing and maintenance are important to the long-term appearance and performance of a ceramic coating.

Customers should follow the applicable aftercare instructions provided by No. 1 Detail and avoid harsh washing methods that may unnecessarily abrade or contaminate the surface.

No. Ceramic coating can make maintenance easier, but the vehicle still needs proper cleaning.

Dirt, road film, minerals, environmental contamination, and other buildup can still accumulate on the vehicle over time.

Transform the Look

Vinyl Wrap & Chrome Delete

Full wraps, partial wraps, color changes, chrome deletes, vehicle condition, installation, removal, and aftercare.

Automotive vinyl wrap is a removable film installed over suitable vehicle surfaces to change the appearance of the vehicle without permanently repainting it.

Explore available options on the Vinyl Wrap page .

Current vinyl services may include:

  • Chrome Deletes
  • Partial Wraps
  • Full Wraps
  • Color Changes
  • Applicable custom vinyl projects

Visit the Vinyl Wrap page for more information.

A Chrome Delete uses automotive vinyl to cover applicable factory chrome exterior trim.

This creates a darker or more customized appearance without permanently altering the original trim.

A Partial Wrap changes selected areas of the vehicle, while a Full Wrap is designed to cover the primary applicable exterior painted surfaces for a more complete transformation.

The exact scope depends on the vehicle and the agreed project.

A standard Full Wrap generally covers the primary applicable exterior painted surfaces unless another scope is specifically agreed upon.

Door jambs, engine-bay surfaces, certain components, and specialty areas may require additional work and separate pricing.

Vinyl wrap is not a substitute for repairing failing or damaged paint.

Peeling clear coat, rust, chips, poor previous repairs, failing paint, or other compromised surfaces can affect adhesion, installation, appearance, longevity, and removal.

Automotive vinyl is designed for use on suitable painted surfaces.

However, compromised, aged, failing, refinished, repaired, or otherwise weakened paint may behave differently during installation or removal.

Yes. Wrapped vehicles still require regular cleaning.

Gentle hand washing is recommended. Harsh chemicals, aggressive brushes, and washing methods that can catch or damage vinyl edges should be avoided.

Vinyl longevity varies based on the film, installation, climate, sun exposure, vehicle storage, maintenance, washing practices, panel orientation, and other environmental factors.

Physical Paint Protection

Paint Protection Film (PPF)

Rock-chip protection, coverage options, film appearance, impact protection, and the difference between PPF and ceramic coating.

Paint Protection Film is a transparent protective film installed over applicable painted surfaces to help defend against rock chips, scratches, road debris, and other everyday hazards.

Learn more on the Paint Protection Film page .

PPF provides a physical protective barrier designed primarily to help protect against impact, abrasion, rock chips, and road debris.

Ceramic coating primarily provides hydrophobic behavior, chemical resistance, enhanced gloss, and easier maintenance.

The two services serve different purposes and can complement one another.

Current coverage options include:

  • Partial Front PPF
  • Full Front PPF
  • Full Vehicle PPF

Current pricing and booking options can be found on the Pricing page .

Full Front PPF is intended to provide broader protection to high-impact front-facing areas of the vehicle.

Exact coverage can vary by vehicle design and the selected package, so customers should review the current service scope when booking.

Quality PPF is designed to preserve the appearance of the vehicle while adding protection.

However, no applied film is literally invisible under every lighting condition or viewing angle. Edges, seams, body design, and installation requirements can influence the appearance.

No. PPF provides substantial physical protection but cannot guarantee that every possible rock, impact, or road hazard will be prevented from causing damage.

PPF and ceramic coating serve different purposes and may be used together when the products and installation are compatible.

PPF provides the physical protection layer, while a ceramic coating can add hydrophobic and maintenance benefits to applicable surfaces.

Comfort, Privacy & Style

Window Tint

Carbon tint, ceramic tint, window strips, heat rejection, UV protection, curing, appearance, and aftercare.

Current window tint options include:

  • Carbon Window Tint
  • Ceramic Window Tint
  • Window Strip Tint

Learn more on the Window Tint page .

Both options can improve appearance, privacy, UV protection, and vehicle comfort.

Ceramic tint uses more advanced film technology and is aimed at customers seeking higher levels of heat rejection and overall performance.

Automotive window films can provide UV protection.

The specific level of protection depends on the film selected.

Tint darkness and heat-rejection performance are not the same thing.

Film technology plays an important role in heat rejection, which is one reason customers may choose a higher-performance ceramic film.

Installation solution can remain between the glass and the film immediately after installation.

Window film requires time to dry and cure, so temporary haziness or moisture pockets can be normal during this process.

Customers should follow the aftercare instructions provided by No. 1 Detail and allow sufficient curing time before operating tinted windows.

Film longevity depends on the film selected, installation, environmental exposure, vehicle storage, maintenance, and other conditions.

Applicable manufacturer or service warranty terms depend on the film selected.

Visit the Pricing page to compare current window tint services and booking options.

Drive Clean Rewards is No. 1 Detail's rewards program for customers who regularly return for a qualifying Full Detail.

Each qualifying paid Full Detail earns one credit. Complete your next qualifying Full Detail within 60 calendar days of your previous qualifying Full Detail to keep your rewards cycle active.

After five qualifying paid Full Details in an active rewards cycle, your sixth qualifying Full Detail is free.

A qualifying service must be a paid Full Detail that includes both interior and exterior detailing.

Interior-only services, exterior-only services, and other services do not earn Drive Clean credits unless No. 1 Detail specifically states otherwise.

To keep an active Drive Clean Rewards cycle, your next qualifying Full Detail must be completed within 60 calendar days of your previous qualifying Full Detail.

Each qualifying visit resets the 60-day return period, giving you another 60 calendar days to complete the next qualifying Full Detail and continue progressing toward your free sixth detail.

If more than 60 calendar days pass between qualifying Full Details, the current Drive Clean Rewards cycle expires.

Your next paid qualifying Full Detail begins a new rewards cycle and becomes the first credit toward a new free sixth Full Detail.

Complete five qualifying paid Full Details while maintaining the required 60-day return interval between each qualifying visit.

After those five qualifying paid Full Details, your sixth qualifying Full Detail is complimentary.

The complimentary Full Detail completes that rewards cycle. A new Drive Clean Rewards cycle can begin with your next paid qualifying Full Detail.

Customers receive a physical Drive Clean Rewards card at the end of a qualifying service.

The card is used to track progress toward the complimentary sixth Full Detail. Customers should keep their card and bring it with them for future qualifying Full Detail visits.

Yes. The current $199 Full Detail promotion qualifies for a Drive Clean Rewards credit when the service is completed and all program requirements are met.

The $199 price is a limited-time promotional price and may change. Drive Clean eligibility is based on completing a qualifying Full Detail, not on the Full Detail remaining at a specific promotional price.

No. Drive Clean Rewards credits and complimentary services have no cash value and are not transferable, subject to the current program terms.

After Your Service

Warranty & Service Concerns

Workmanship concerns, limited warranty coverage, inspections, corrective service, pre-existing conditions, and aftercare.

No. 1 Detail provides a limited workmanship warranty generally lasting 7 calendar days unless a different written warranty period applies to the particular service or product.

Contact No. 1 Detail promptly within the applicable warranty period and provide information and photos showing the concern.

No. 1 Detail must be given an opportunity to inspect the vehicle and determine whether the concern qualifies for corrective work.

Visit the Contact Us page or text 316-213-2638 .

When a concern qualifies under the applicable limited workmanship warranty, No. 1 Detail must be given the opportunity to inspect the vehicle and, when appropriate, perform corrective work.

Corrective service is subject to applicable service terms, warranty limitations, and inspection findings.

Payments for completed services are generally final and non-refundable according to No. 1 Detail's current service terms.

Qualifying workmanship concerns are addressed through the applicable inspection and corrective-service process rather than through a refund.

Conditions caused by improper aftercare, weather, environmental exposure, accidents, misuse, pre-existing defects, deterioration, previous repairs, failing materials, or circumstances outside No. 1 Detail's workmanship are generally excluded.

Automotive appearance work can reveal or interact with pre-existing conditions such as failing paint, weakened clear coat, previous repairs, damaged trim, deteriorated adhesives, aftermarket components, or other compromised materials.

Documenting vehicle condition helps establish what existed before service began.

Yes. Cleaning, decontamination, polishing, disassembly, film installation, or other automotive appearance services can reveal defects that were previously hidden by dirt, contamination, old products, previous work, or surrounding materials.

No automotive appearance service can reasonably guarantee perfection on every vehicle.

Results depend on the vehicle's starting condition, age, materials, paint condition, previous repairs, damage, requested scope, and what can safely be achieved.

No. 1 Detail's goal is professional workmanship and the best reasonable result within the scope of the selected service.
